Students from across Coweta Public Schools came together to show their gratitude and support for local veterans by lining the parade route with heartfelt displays of appreciation.
Children from each school in the district participated in the touching tribute, holding handmade signs and waving flags as veterans passed by. The colorful display of patriotism and thankfulness created a memorable moment for those who have served our country.
The handcrafted signs featured messages of thanks and recognition for the sacrifices made by veterans in defense of our freedom. Students spent time creating their tributes, putting care and creativity into each message of appreciation.
"It's important for our students to understand and honor the service of those who fought to protect our freedoms," said district officials. "This parade gave them a meaningful way to express their gratitude."
